Topics for Future Research
This list of research topics can be of use to students and others in identifying topics of general interest and importance to practitioners. It is often difficult for students or academics interested in RI to identify many of the key issues on which research in the field is most needed. This resource is meant to direct research to these areas of particular need.

If you would like to begin researching and writing on a topic listed on the page, we would encourage you to let us know so we can mark the topic as research in progress. Here, the research project will be listed by topic, title and authors’ names, allowing parties interested in a particular topic or research question the opportunity to contact the persons who are already engaging the issue. This page is also open to submissions from any of the PRI Academic Network (or non-Network) members who would like to add a question or topic for future research. You will be asked to provide your contact details so a person interested in the topic can contact you and any additional background information on the topic which might be helpful. This page should function not only as a compilation of research ideas and tracker of research in progress, but a place for researchers to find out who is doing what and how to contact them. Effectively, the page should encourage both further research by providing research ideas as well as interaction among institutions and academics of all experience levels.
